About 4 hours on the plane — Hong Kong here we come! Head to Changi T4 a couple of hours early. Power banks must go in your carry-on bag, NOT checked luggage! ⚡

We land at Hong Kong International Airport! Then we take the super fast Airport Express train into the city — only 24 minutes! If there's a big group of us, a taxi or Uber straight to the hotel might actually be cheaper — the adults will figure it out! 🚕

Our base for the first 4 nights! Wan Chai is one of the coolest neighbourhoods in HK — great food, markets, and the WHIMSY entertainment centre is literally inside our building! 🎮

Wing Wah noodle shop nearby is open super late — wonton noodles, congee, Hong Kong toast. The perfect first meal in HK! 😋

A real Hong Kong cha chaan teng (that's a HK diner) that's been open since 1952! Order the pineapple bun (it has NO pineapple in it — it just LOOKS like one 🍍), milk tea, and scrambled egg toast. Total HK experience! 🥐

The Peak Tram is SO steep it feels like you're going to slide off your seat backwards! At the top, you get the most INSANE view of the Hong Kong skyline — skyscrapers, the harbour, islands everywhere. Book online so we don't wait in a massive queue! 📸

A 3.5km walk all the way around the Peak with crazy views the WHOLE way! Free, paved, and takes about an hour. The whole city of Hong Kong is below you! 🌆

428 metres above sea level — HK's highest viewing platform! The number 428 = the height in metres. Get the photos before the midday haze rolls in! ☁️

Eat at the Peak Galleria or head back down for more food options near the hotel!

36,000 sq ft of pure FUN — literally one floor above us! 🚗 Drift Bumper Cars (HK's FIRST drifting bumper cars!) 🥽 VR Sky Ride with wind, water and scent effects ❄️ Snow Wonderland — real snow at MINUS 15 degrees (they give you a coat!) 🎬 ARC Screen immersive cinema. It's all here! Walk-in, no booking needed!

Lee Tung Avenue is 3 minutes walk away — loads of options. Vincenzo Capuano has world-famous Neapolitan pizza cut with gold scissors 🍕, and Dan Ryan's American Grill has an EPIC kids menu! 🍔

The iconic Star Ferry has been crossing Victoria Harbour since 1888! Only 8 minutes to cross and costs less than a packet of sweets on your Octopus card. Amazing views of both skylines from the water! ⛵ Head to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) on the Kowloon side!

Just like Hollywood's Walk of Fame but for HONG KONG movie stars! There's a famous Bruce Lee statue — he was born in San Francisco but Hong Kong is where he became a legend! 🥋 Spot the handprints of famous HK actors!

Two awesome museums — pick your favourite! 🚀 Space Museum: that egg-shaped dome right on the waterfront! Omnimax planetarium films + Moon and Mars VR experiences. Totally mind-blowing. OR 🔬 Science Museum: 500+ hands-on exhibits, a 22-metre tall Energy Machine that goes through 4 floors, World of Mirrors — open from 1pm on weekdays. Both are incredible for curious minds! 🧠

Loads of options along Salisbury Road, Harbour City mall, or K11 Musea shopping centre! 🥢

One kilometre of market stalls packed with clothes, gadgets, toys, phone cases, souvenirs and all kinds of random stuff! The key rule: HAGGLE! Start by offering half the price they say, then negotiate up. It's expected and actually fun once you get the hang of it 💪 Two MTR stops north of TST!

MTR back to base — Tsuen Wan Line to Admiralty, then to Wan Chai. Only 15 minutes! 🚇

Tonight's a good night for Dan Ryan's — burgers, ribs, huge portions! Kids under 12 eat FREE on Wednesdays! 🍔

This day is all yours! The adults have a list of ideas — see what sounds most fun to you. Options include Ocean Park (massive theme park + Water World!), the Ngong Ping Cable Car (gondola ride over mountains to a giant Buddha!), or just chilling and exploring Wan Chai. What do YOU want to do? 🙋

HK's original theme park! Coasters like Hair Raiser and The Flash, AND a whole Water World section with wave pools, slides, and a lazy river. A full day right there! Wear your swimsuit under your clothes. 🌊 Go straight to Thrill Mountain when it opens — queues build fast!

A 25-minute gondola ride OVER the mountains of Lantau Island with views of the sea below — you can upgrade to a glass-floor crystal cabin if you're brave enough! 😱 At the top: the GIANT Tian Tan Buddha — 34 metres tall with 268 steps to climb! Plus a cool village and the ancient Po Lin Monastery. Half a day of adventure!

This is SO COOL and very Hong Kong — you go out on a boat at night and fish for squid! The boat has bright lights to attract them, and you actually catch them yourself! 🎣 Back by about 11pm. Older kids and teens love this one. Book on Klook in advance — ask the adults if we're doing it!

Tomorrow we check out early and head straight to DISNEYLAND! Pack everything tonight. VERY IMPORTANT: Disney Explorers Lodge doesn't provide ANY toiletries — toothbrush, shampoo, everything comes from our bag. Pack it all! 🪥

Get up, eat breakfast, check out of the Hopewell Hotel! We're heading to DISNEY! Bags packed from last night? Good. Let's GO! 🎉

The Disneyland MTR line is decorated in Mickey Mouse style — even the windows have Mickey ear shapes! About 40 minutes from Wan Chai. Get your Octopus card ready! 🐭

Our room isn't ready until 3pm — leave the bags with Bell Services (totally free and safe!). VERY IMPORTANT: Collect your park tickets at the hotel front desk BEFORE going to the park entrance. Don't skip this step! 🎫

Be at the gate when it opens! This is called "rope drop" and it's the BEST time to ride the popular stuff before the queues get mental! 🏃‍♂️

The most popular ride in the WHOLE park! You suit up as an Iron Man recruit and fly through a battle against Hydra in a full-on VR simulator! The queue goes from 20 mins at opening to 90+ mins by 10:30am. GO STRAIGHT HERE. DO NOT STOP. 🦾💥

Right next to Iron Man — you're a tiny Ant-Man recruit blasting villains with a laser gun! Do both Marvel rides back to back while the queues are still short! 🔫

Step into Arendelle! Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs is a wild family coaster through a snowstorm, and Hyperspace Mountain is a full-on indoor space coaster in total darkness! ❄️🚀

Loads of restaurants throughout all the themed zones. Eat quickly and get back out there — there's so much more to see! 🍕

Mystic Manor is UNIQUE to Hong Kong Disneyland — nowhere else in the world has it! An enchanted manor with objects that come to life everywhere you turn. No drop, no screaming — just pure wonder. Grizzly Gulch is a classic mine cart coaster — backwards!! 🐻

Room ready from 3pm — swing back, freshen up, dump the bags. Then straight back out for dinner in the resort and the big finale! 🏨

DO. NOT. MISS. THIS. Fireworks, castle projections, drones, light beams, music — the whole sky lights up over Sleeping Beauty Castle! Get a spot on Main Street at LEAST 20 minutes early or you'll be stuck at the back! This is the moment that makes the whole trip! 🎆🏰✨
